My name is Chris Patterson (eldest grandson of Colin C H Washtell).
 
Just happened upon your site.

I remember my grandfather's G3CJY call sign without problem and his many hours at his equipment in the attic room of 'White Roses', Reach.
 
I vaguely remember meeting Howard and Lawrence Jones (Photo 1 on left).
 
Photos 17/30 & 31 are of Colin so obviously notation is left to right.
