Great day out, some 20 members and friends joined us this year to enjoy the good weather with some classy picnics.

H.F. radio was provided with the club's rig and G5RV dipole strung between the trees.  Power from KWA's generator and gezebo to protect from the strong sun completed the set-up.  Some good contacts were made on 80, 40 and 20m.  We might consider battery operation or a quieter generator next year.

All the usual attractions of the Fete and the Stable courtyard shops along with the Waterbeach Brass band.  No beer tent still !!

Thank you to Wimpole Estates office team for a really enjoyable day in such wonderful surroundings.  This is now our major social event of the year, see you next year?
