The annual 144 Mhz RSGB Trophy and IARU Region 1 contest took place, as usual, at Castle Camps.  The club trailer was used with two (and much lighter) 17 element Tonna yagi, fed from the club's Nag linear driven from the, I think, Yaesu 221 (with Mutek front end fitted).

Final results listed in December 87 Rad Com show a rather good position of 14/35, with normalised points of 4619 from 491 contacts.  Best Dx was 829 Km.
