Twelfth Cambridge Scouts Chatteris, September 1986 Special Event GB4TCS
On 27th September the club set up and operated a demonstration station, GB4TCS, (Twelfth Cambridge Scouts) at the Chatteris Scout Jamboree. As leader of the 12th Cambridge, Chris Cheney, G3RSE made the arrangements. One memory, and Chris noticed, that a small party wandered off to the nearest pub for light refreshment around lunchtime, led of course by Mike G8VCN. Surely not!
Chris has kindly provided a copy of the QSL card, as Cambeam said, there was a visit by the UK Chief Scout to East Cambridgeshire Scouts. The photos show a well attended demonstration and the excellent Scout Camp field activiities.
